Process and clarity

My name is Clara, and muhyi is my textile art studio defined by process, material focus, and clarity of form.

It emerged from a decision to slow down and work with greater intention. Textile art offered a disciplined, hands-on practice where time, repetition, and material choices shape each outcome.

That’s how was born: from a deliberate shift in pace and a commitment to contemporary textile art together with clarity and purpose.

Based in Valencia, Spain • Working with interior designer, and collectors internationally.

What started as a pause became a practice. What began as thread, now shapes spaces.

The practice

My work explores the intersection of traditional textile methods and contemporary spatial design. Each piece begins with material exploration—wool, cotton, raffia, metal—understanding how texture and structure communicate within architectural contexts.

The approach transforms textile from decorative surface into spatial element: pieces with sculptural presence that respond to light and define a room rather than simply occupy it.

I source natural fibers from trusted suppliers for their longevity and aging characteristics, ensuring works remain relevant for decades rather than trend cycles.

Through muhyi, I collaborate with designers and architects on site-specific commissions and ready works, each created with technical precision and conceptual integrity.

Working together

My work often takes shape through:

» Bespoke commissions—each piece conceived for its specific spatial context.

» Large-format statement works that define rather than decorate a space.

» Coordinated editions for projects needing visual cohesion across multiple installations
